Hemlock Studio Gallery is a community of artists and artisans who live in northeast Georgia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Consider the mighty Hemlock, tallest and oldest of the sacred trees of legend. A conifer sentinel, with gifts both healing and deadly. A study in dark and light, a wonderful representation of our place in the northeast Georgia foothills.
Mission
The mission of Hemlock Studio Gallery is to provide local artists and artisans with the opportunity to express and show their creativity in a gallery where others can enjoy and purchase their artwork. Our gallery opened in June of 2021, the vision of Jane McFerrin and Anne Short, along with the help of Sara Oakley and Mike Short. It is an eclectic and vibrant place! Our artists include painters, ceramists, sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, jewelry and glass artisans.
