- Katherine has been drawing since she could hold a #6B pencil. At 14 years old, she painted her first oil painting and won first place in the Massachusetts state fair. Her passion was illustration until, much later in life, she experienced the wonders of watercolor and ink.
- Borrowed from times gone past, her artwork frequently integrates ancient symbolism, international motifs, patterns from nature, and numbers. Her inspiration is drawn from the outdoor world, a love of animals, and the interconnectedness of all things.

- Her favorite weather is wind, rain, and a chance of thunderstorm.
- She’s a U.S.-born, Canadian-Brit who enjoys a good cuppa (anytime of day).
- She occasionally rides a dirt bike, wields a bow and arrow, and operates a Ham radio.
Katherine lives under the shadow of Mount Yonah with her husband, horses, and two dogs.
