"My path has been a bit circuitous and includes a degree in landscape architecture, design and construction, environmental consulting, farming, art, teaching (a little) and being outdoors (a lot).
Now, after a variety of different adventures, I am home again and revisiting my father’s observation: ‘You are a teacher and an artist.’
And so, as in life, using the juxtaposition or dance of opposites, especially light and shadow, I utilize tools (paint and pen) to inspire not just the eyes but the mind. And encourage others to share themselves through their art too.
I work primarily in watercolor but also oil, acrylic, graphite and pastel."
