"Each day I have fun creating cards and 3D paper art. I began my journey back in 2010 when my mom passed away. I did not know what to get or give family members for Christmas that year. However, a friend who makes beautiful handmade cards suggested I make a customized calendar for everyone. I snickered and told her that I did not have an artistic bone in my body. She reassured me and said she would walk me through how to make them. Moreover, she invited me to use her craft area and many of her supplies. Everyone loved the calendars! I, in turn, had fun making them…with LOTS of help from my friend.
Subsequently, my friend invited me to join one of her card-making classes. I again lamented that I was not artistic. Her comment back to me was, “You would be surprised!”
As it turns out, she was right! I continue to be surprised with each creation, and I invite you to come into the gallery to see what may call to you!"
