"I’m a retired educator with teaching and leadership positions in Georgia, Louisiana,California, New Zealand, and Malaysia. My international experiences have enriched my life and understanding of the universality of the human condition.
A long-time 'dabbler' in many traditional crafts, it was upon my retirement that I began painting. I am drawn first to color. Vivid colors excite me; I literally feel a tingle up my arm as I paint. Because of their brilliance, pastels were my first love. More recently, I’ve begun painting in oils and acrylics...."
